First, I would like to say “Thank You” to all of you who have left comments for me and sent emails letting me know how much you are enjoying this new project of mine.  When I first started this blog (almost eight weeks ago, now) I thought, at best, it would be a wonderful journal to pass along to my children for when they, eventually, leave the nest and begin cooking for themselves…a record of their favorite recipes & dinners, as well as a few family memories.

Well, through the magic of cyberspace, my little dinner journal has travelled from my desk, throughout California, into Illinois, New York, Connecticut and France!  One reader from Connecticut wrote me asking if I could do daily dinner posts in addition to the weekly menu.  I thought about how I could make this work…a bit more of a daily blogging commitment but shorter, more focused entries.  I decided it was worth a try, so…

The new format will consist of a weekly dinner menu, published Sunday morning for that week followed by a daily dinner post, Sunday through Friday evenings, which focuses on that evening’s dinner (as previously posted in the weekly menu) including photographs, tips, tweaks to recipes & lessons learned.  Let me know what you think…
