Thanksgiving morning…Michael & I pour ourselves a coffee and join the kids, each one enjoying the first mug of eggnog of this holiday season, watching the kick-off of the Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade. New York was once our home, so watching this parade is a bit of nostalgia…we don’t watch long, usually signing off after the Rockettes do their thing. Boys are happy to switch the channel to the first football game of the day, girls are off to the barn to take care of the horses & I head to the kitchen. The festivities will begin around 2 with dinner served at 4:30.
