Michael is finally home after two weeks of traveling in Finland as well as Japan and, although this week promises to be action-packed with riding lessons, football practice {and the first game!} and school board meetings, I am so looking forward to a week of family dinners together.

School has started but summer is definitely not over.  Our dinner menu this week was inspired by all of the bounty a late August garden has to offer…tomatoes, basil, watermelon, peaches, cherries.  As always, many of the recipes are new and I am excited to give them a try and share with you!
